Ijamsville Road Improvements

Brudis & Associates, Inc. is responsible for the complete design for nearly three miles of roadway realignment along Ijamsville Road in Frederick County. BAI’s design involved roadway design and structure, including a steel beam bridge over Bush Creek, CSX railroad crossing with detailed intersection control and alignments; directional signing and pavement markings, sediment/erosion control plans, and roadway landscaping.

In order to increase safety at the intersection, BAI developed completed construction plans, specifications and cost estimates to improve sight distance requirements. The project included: sidewalk, residential access; phased traffic control; horizontal/vertical alignments; drainage modifications; stormwater management; signing and pavement marking plans.
MD Route 658 Improvements

Brudis & Associates, Inc. was responsible for the development and complete construction plans, specifications and cost estimates for nearly one mile of congested roadway to improve safety and capacity. The project included: traffic signal design, phased traffic control, horizontal and vertical alignments, intersection geometric, and drainage modifications.
US Route 301 Truck Pull off

Brudis & Associates, Inc. (BAI) developed complete construction plans, specifications and cost estimates for a new truck safety/inspection pull off station at the intersection of US Route 301 and MD Route 299, approximately two miles from the Delaware State border. The project involved extensive preliminary studies and presentations, for ramp alignment, internal truck circulation, weigh access, truck parking/impoundment area, site layout, intersection realignment, pavement section and construction cost.
